What to Do During Bed Rest
I may be spending most of my time on the couch or in bed now but I don't want to waste my time away!
My mind is still very much active and I want to make good use of it!
So I am compiling this list of activities I can do to stay mentally active:
Work on building & growing this brand - my dream of running a successful company will not be stopped by this little 'obstacle'. In fact, I think this might help as I have more time I can spend on my company!
Read - I have many books i have started, perhaps now is a good time to actually finish them ;) also, I'm contemplating whether or not I should get a month of Amazon Unlimited and get many more books to read.
Podcasts - I am not a strong audio learner but it can be refreshing to do some listening instead of merely reading/watching. Some podcasts I'm following right now is: The Dave Ramsey Show, The Boss Mom Podcast, The Influence Podcast, The Modern Homemaker, Entreleadership. I also listen to Revive Our Hearts's radio programs online.
Sermons - I don't always get to listen to the whole sermon at my church because I have a toddler. For some reason he likes to make loud noises so I will go to the nursery with him. Well, now I can watch sermons online with all the time I have! I like to watch sermons by John Piper and Matt Chandler.
Puzzles - I love puzzles. Sudoku, jigsaw and word puzzles will entertain me for a long time.
